Walk the Talk for Unity
What if a single step could spark a movement toward understanding and connection?
Meet us at 10.00am Sunday 15 March at the Bridge of Remembrance to join us for Walk the Talk for Unity, where every stride becomes a statement of togetherness, compassion, and community.
Let’s turn words into action and walk side by side for a world that listens, respects, and unites. Take that step - because unity isn’t just an idea; it’s a journey we walk together
Ride for Unity
Come and Ride the Peace Train - a model, ride-on train gifted by the Yusuf Islam Foundation to the people of Christchurch in recognition of the response of support and compassion that followed the terror attacks of March 15, 2019. Yusuf’s gift (his “little chugger”) was made because he saw the New Zealand response to the Mosque Attacks as a beautiful lesson, an example of the best side of humanity. The gift was conditional on the train being free to ride for the citizens of Christchurch and run in a central location.
Word Up - Culture Galore
Come meet our passionate team at CCC’s Culture Galore; a festival celebrating our city’s diversity. This is an opportunity to have a chat and ask us, as Muslims, any questions you may have and tell us what Unity means to you! To be held at the Multicultural Recreation & Community Centre, 455 Hagley Avenue
