“Everyone jump upon the Peace Train!” — a heartfelt gift from Cat Stevens & the Yusuf Islam Foundation to the people of Christchurch, honouring the unity and resilience shown after 15 March 2019.

The Peace Train departs from behind the kiosk in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and loops along pathway around the playground, following the serene Ōtākaro-Avon River. Come Ride for Unity, and celebrate the spirit of peace and togetherness. On Sunday 15 March the Peace Train will be operating from 10.00am - 2.00pm (barring bad weather).
